BESMILLAH AL-RAHMAN AL-RAHEEM.

These are NAMES of Safsaf Village Shuhada Massacre

which was committed by the Jewish Zionists , in the morning of Friday Oct.30,
1948 at 7 o'clock am, after a fierce battle that lasted almost 10 hours,
The Brave Defenders of the village People with Arab Freedom
Liberation Army, against attacking Jewish Army of the Out-Lawed
Gangs of Hagana, Stern & Irguns, under the leadership of Manno
Bin Murdakhay, originally from Ja'unah village near Safad. The battle
Started at about 4 pm on Thursday 29/10/1948 and ended on Friday
Morning 30/10/1948. During the battle a complete Regiment was
Killed on the East side of the village. So the Jewish Enemy Army
Shifted South as they were not able to take over the village from
The East, and its people who were defending its Land, people and their
Presence to live a decent free life. Finding a fierece resistance and
Heavy shelling in the East, they shifted the battle south to Miron
Village, took it over then to the West side from Beit Jun. And from
There, sent their commandos North to the village of Jish and took it
Over. Now Safsaf was surrounded from all sides and under the siege,
And unfortunately they took it over after all and this was the first
Part. After the Jewish Zionists Gangs saw how many soldiers of
Their army were lost started raping and killing .Later the Masscare
Started without any mercy. This Savage and Unbelievable Massacre

A Very grim account from Safsaf

Posted by Ali Zeidan on JUNE-21-2001

Here is a very grim account from Safsaf, a village seven kilometres northwest of Safad.
[After being lined up in front of some village houses] As we lined up, a few Jewish soldiers ordered four girls to accompany them to carry water for the soldiers. Instead, they took them to our empty houses and raped them. About 70 of our men were blindfolded and shot to death, one after the other, in front of us. The soldiers took their bodies and threw them on the cement covering of the village's spring and dumped sand on them. I stayed in the village for almost a week... the Jews visited us once or twice.
They told us that we might stay in the village if we wished, suggesting that we send word to our men to return to the village. Although they assured us that no harm would come to us... that we should forget about what had happened in the village, we did not trust them nor did we believe them. Every night, about four persons would leave the village without the Jews' knowledge. I did not want to stay... How could we forget what they did to our boys?... How could we open our hearts to them and really trust them?
